This course will empower you to add pizzazz to your emails that go beyond Account Engagement’s out-of-the-box templates.

Code literacy is one of the skillsets that separates the good from the great in marketing operations. Whether you’re pretty new to HTML & CSS or self-taught and looking to level up, we’ve got you covered. We built this course specifically to give you the skills to create the perfect emails in Account Engagement.

Students take advantage of weekly open office hours to get one-on-one support throughout the course. Get access to session recordings and training decks at the end of the course to continue learning and keep up the momentum. If you know Account Engagement and want to add HTML & CSS fundamentals to your toolbox… this is for you.

This Code School For Marketers Bootcamp is intended for: Account Engagement admins, Account Engagement users, campaign specialists, and email marketing managers, who want to learn the basics of HTML/CSS and how these apply to email templates in Account Engagement.

Course Info

Code School for Marketers
  • Lesson One: Intro to HTML building blocks & standard layouts
  • Lesson Two: Email layout patterns and anatomy of a CSS rule set
  • Lesson Three: Responsive layouts and mobile vs. desktop
  • Lesson Four: Render testing and troubleshooting applications
  • Lesson Five: Variable tags and Handlebar Merge Language
  • Lesson Six: Custom Enhancements, email inspiration & community groups
  • You will need access to Account Engagement to participate in the course
    • Account Engagement marketing access (or higher) is ideal
  • A working camera and mic to participate through Zoom video chat
  • Some familiarity with HTML and CSS (as in, you’ve seen it before — no need to be an expert!)
  • Willingness to learn and participate
  • We recommend students plan to commit a minimum of 4-5 hours a week to this course. That includes two-hour lecture sessions, the optional weekly open office hour, and a recommended one hour of self-paced learning.

All classes are from 12pm – 2 pm ET and all open office hours are from 12 pm – 1 pm ET.

Seats for this bootcamp start at $2,400 USD per seat unless otherwise stated on this page due to a special promotion. We offer special pricing to nonprofits and educational institutions. If you are looking for group training or more tailored training, please review our private training page.

Depending on student participation, each training session during the bootcamp normally runs for 2 hours. This bootcamp also has an optional 1 hour office hour session.

All prerequisites for this bootcamp are listed in the prerequisite section of this page. It is expected that students will have their account to run training in.
