About the Gig:

You spend your days translating business requirements into automation in Sales Cloud and developing Salesforce solutions for clients. You own the client relationship and ensure seamless project execution from discovery to build to finalization. You are like an extension of the client’s team and also help keep us on the edge of the latest and greatest changes to the platform, helping us make our clients as successful as they can possibly be with Salesforce.

A Day-in-the-Life:

  • Researching, Building, testing, and deploying declarative and/or technical solutions to meet client needs and requirements
  • Serving as a technical expert in Sales Cloud implementations
  • Training clients on how best to use the tools in their environment
  • Reviewing system configurations and ensuring things are working as scoped and planned
  • Leading Discovery and Business Process Review with clients to define and document requirements, and develop testing and enablement plans to ensure alignment with client goals and the vision of the projects
  • Provide client consulting and coaching around Salesforce best practices, proactively recommending new features and improvements to grow use of the platformConducting training sessions with the Sercante team to share knowledge and create end user documentation
  • Partnering with the broader Sercante team to support, solution and deliver results for clients
  • Leading Salesforce projects including:
    • Implementations and migrations
    • System architecture / solution design
    • Lightning migration assessments & execution
    • Configuring and recommending AppExchange solutions
    • Advising on other additions to the sales, marketing, and operations tech stack
    • Building Salesforce reports & dashboards
    • Other Salesforce administration and troubleshooting work as needed

A Successful Strategist will:

  • Have a deep understanding and passion for all things Salesforce
  • Enjoy training groups of one or one hundred on Salesforce 
  • Keep up to date on the latest Sales Cloud releases and features
  • Possess the Salesforce Administrator certification- at minimum
  • Bonus points – Prior consulting experience, Community (Experience) Cloud chops, Marketing Cloud experience
  • Have the ability to manage concurrent projects and learn new technologies quickly
  • Work well with marketers & business leaders at all levels of an organization
  • Enjoy doing deep-dive, solutioning across a portfolio of several clients (think a Beautiful Mind but with dry erase markers)
  • Be a true advisor, and push back to get to the “why” behind questionable configuration decisions and/or requirements
  • Love learning the ins and outs of new areas of the Salesforce platform
  • Teach others and break down technical concepts
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years prior experience working regularly with Sales Cloud
