Onboarding & Development Lead

About the Gig:

Sercante is a high growth marketing tech consulting firm, and we need an Onboarding & Development Lead to support internal training, measure team skills/expertise, and build learning paths for both new and existing team members. 

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience with professional services organizations and will be able to lead our team of high-performing consultants to be efficient, productive, and effective.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing skills assessments for use pre-hire and with existing team
  • Designing and overseeing the execution of a best-in-class onboarding program 
  • Shadowing new team members and support them in “upskilling” and development
  • Defining learning paths and “need to know” skills for key roles on the team 
  • Creating a mechanism to track/test mastery of skills and concepts 
  • Building culture of learning and continuous improvement
  • Developing a training process that feeds talent pipeline

A successful Onboarding & Development Lead will:

  • Spot knowledge gaps and highlight opportunities  
  • Balance long term vision with short term objectives 
  • Work well with both numbers and people
  • Build great relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
