About the Gig:

The Digital Designer creates, manages, and produces digital design solutions for both internal and client projects including email templates, landing pages, social graphics, banner ads, etc., to help Sercante and its clients grow and market their businesses. 

Our clients come to us because we lead the market in Pardot & Salesforce configuration – and the digital designer ensures we equally wow them with our creative prowess by designing engaging and effective concepts across the entire campaign suite of assets. 

As a Digital Designer you sit on the marketing team and work with cross-functional teams to take clients ideas from concept to execution, working with project managers, solution architects, development teams, and content experts. The Digital Designer will also support all internal design needs (social media graphics, presentation decks, emails, web pages, etc) developing and ensuring brand guidelines across all brands (Sercante, The Spot & MarDreamin’) are met across all assets. 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is comfortable with both the creative and technical side of digital marketing. The right fit candidate will be a team player who is eager to learn and expand their skills and interested in helping us grow our design offering. 

A Day-in-the-Life:

  • Designing digital assets for client campaigns including emails, landing pages, social media graphics, banner ads, etc. 
  • Leading creative on larger client projects including brand refreshes, website design, etc. 
  • Working directly with the marketing department on internal design needs across all assets including social media, website, emails, company swag (no stuffy mugs and t-shirts here), interactive assets, Google docs, slides etc. 
  • Recommending cool products/apps to take our clients’ digital design to the next level
  • Working directly with our development and content teams to define process and help grow our creative services offering

  • Able to ask the right questions to interpret the client’s needs and turn them into a design that will deliver both an effective visual message and user experience
  • Not scared of developing creative concept before content is developed to show ‘the art of possibility’
  • Keep a pulse on new design trends to continue strengthening that design muscle. 
  • Thrive on creating out-of-the box swag and promotional campaigns  
  • Knows the ins and outs of Adobe Creative Cloud 
  • Experience using or ability to learn Figma, Canva, and other client side design programs  
  • Have an eye for design & easily adapt to client brand guidelines
  • Have a fundamental understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Design for accessibility and with UI/UX best practices
  • Push the envelope to improve existing creative 
  • Embrace learning new tools & resources and take pride in becoming a subject matter expert
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working autonomously, on self-directed projects, and holding oneself accountable to deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
