Account Director (Sales)

About the Gig:

As a Sercante Account Director, you will be on the front line of driving growth. You will be a member of our sales team and spend your days focusing on uncovering new projects, solving problems for customers, & setting our team up for success post-sale. Your primary focus will be on biz dev activities that spread the word about Sercante. You will manage the entire sales process from a new lead to a closed won opportunity.

A Day-in-the-Life:

  • Respond to inbound inquiries about Pardot and Marketing Cloud projects & leading introductory calls
  • Reach out to warm leads from events, training, and content marketing
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover client needs
  • With the support of our delivery & solution engineering team, scope solutions and pricing
  • Create proposals for clients that reflect their needs and show that we understand their business
  • Participate in marketing campaigns & events to connect with prospects & clients resulting in sales opportunities
  • Attend & represent Sercante at industry & networking events to drive new business
  • Leverage Salesforce and Sercante templates/tools to run an efficient sales process
  • Work closely with Delivery to ensure proper scoping & expectation management
  • Participate in weekly team meetings for sales pipeline updates, sales huddles, & weekly 1:1 meetings
  • Partner with Delivery Teams in thinking through upsell opportunities for clients & proactively pursuing those opportunities resulting in add-on work & revenue

A Account Director will:

  • Maintain a sales pipeline of a minimum of 10+ active opportunities weekly
  • Achieve a minimum of $1MM in closed sales in year 1
  • Display a deep understanding & passion for all things Salesforce
  • Have hands-on experience working daily in a leading CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Be motivated to generate pipeline and drum up new leads
  • Be persistent and tenacious
  • Build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Have strong business acumen and work well with marketers & business leaders at all levels of an organization
  • Display a thoughtful, thorough, organized approach to managing day-to-day complexities & be extremely proactive & responsive
  • Bonus points for prior marketing and/or Salesforce consulting experience
